Drug Facts (Per Bottle)
Active Ingredient
- Methylcellulose – 2g (a non-allergenic fiber)
- Purpose: Bulk-forming fiber laxative
Uses
- Relieves constipation (irregularity)
- Helps restore and maintain regularity
- May be recommended for bowel disorders by a doctor
- Works in 12–72 hours
Warnings
- Choking Warning: Take with at least 8 oz of liquid. Without enough liquid, product may swell and cause choking.
- Do Not Use if you have difficulty swallowing.
- Ask a doctor before use if you have:
- Abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting
- A sudden change in bowel habits lasting more than 2 weeks
- Stop use and ask a doctor if:
- You have rectal bleeding
- You fail to have a bowel movement after use
- Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222.
Directions (Per Bottle)
- Mix one rounded tablespoon (19g) in 8 oz of water, up to 3x daily
- Stir briskly and drink promptly
- Drink another glass of water afterward
- Children 6–12: Half the adult dose once daily
- Under 6: Ask a doctor
