What’s the difference between Contour and Contour Next?
The original Contour meter uses Contour test strips, while the newer Contour Next system uses more advanced Contour Next test strips. They are not interchangeable.
Is Contour still made by Bayer?No. Bayer sold its diabetes division in 2016. Contour and Contour Next test strips are now made by Ascensia Diabetes Care, but the products remain FDA-cleared and high quality.
