"A real find"

• I have been looking for Citrucel for months in the stores and have been unable to find it. I learned that methylcellulose is in short supply for some reason, and that they manufacturer will not be making it for quite some time as they are having factory problems. 
• I tried the Citrucel caplets, but they were not as effective. I then tried Metamucil, but that caused serious gas and bloating, so gave up on it after a few weeks. 
• I was delighted to find this site that had a generic version of orange flavored methylcellulose, so figured I'd give it a try. Although the orange flavor is pretty hard to detect, the product works just like Citrucel. The texture is more course, and tended to get clumpy when mixed with water, so I put it in my spice grinder and ground it into more of a powder, and it works beautifully. No lumps, it's and much easier to swallow. 
• If powdered Citrucel ever comes back on the market, I may just stick with this brand anyway. I have had intestinal problems for years, and regular use of methylcellulose has been a boon to me. Thank you for making this product available during the Citrucel shortage.
