Active Ingredient:
Zinc Oxide 20% w/w (Skin Protectant)
Uses:
Soothes itching, inflammation, and discomfort caused by diaper rash, minor burns, and chafing. Dries the oozing and weeping of poison ivy, oak, and sumac.
Directions:
- For General Skin Protection: Cleanse the affected area and allow to dry. Apply a thin layer of ointment up to 3–4 times per day or as needed to maintain the barrier.
- For Poison Ivy, Oak, and Sumac: Apply to the affected area as needed to dry oozing and weeping.
Warnings & Precautions:
- For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.
- Stop Use: If the condition worsens or if symptoms last more than 7 days.
- Sun Sensitivity: Zinc oxide sits on the surface of the skin and can increase sun sensitivity; avoid excessive sun exposure when using.
- Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
