Rugby Sodium Chloride Ophthalmic Solution 5% contains the same 5% hypertonic saline active ingredient used in Muro 128®. The solution works by drawing excess fluid from the cornea to help reduce swelling associated with corneal edema.

Uses
- For the temporary relief of corneal edema.
Directions
- Adults: Instill 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 3 to 4 hours, or as directed by a doctor.
- Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination.
Warnings
- For external use only.
- Do not use unless advised by a doctor.
- Do not use if solution changes color or becomes cloudy.
- Stop use and ask a doctor if: Pain, vision changes, redness, irritation, or swelling worsens or lasts more than 72 hours.
- Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
Storage & Other Information
- Store upright at 15°–25°C (59°–77°F).
- Keep tightly closed. Do not freeze.
Inactive Ingredients
Boric acid, hypromellose, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium borate. Preservatives: methylparaben, propylparaben. Hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may be used to adjust pH.
