Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How long does a dose of Diphenhydramine last?
Standard relief typically lasts between 4 and 6 hours. For 24-hour relief, you may want to explore second-generation antihistamines like Loratadine or Cetirizine.
Is there a difference between Benadryl® and Rugby Diphenhydramine?
Clinically, no. Both contain the same active ingredient (Diphenhydramine HCl) at the same 25 mg strength. The main difference is the packaging and the significant cost savings provided by the generic version.
Can I use this for wildfire smoke?
While this medication can help with itchy eyes and a runny nose triggered by environmental irritants, it is not specifically designed to treat respiratory irritation caused by smoke. For smoke-related symptoms, consult a healthcare professional.
