Drug Facts

Active Ingredients (per tablet):

  • Guaifenesin 400 mg – Expectorant
  • Phenylephrine HCl 10 mg – Nasal Decongestant

Uses

  • Temporarily relieves cough and congestion from colds, hay fever, or allergies
  • Helps loosen phlegm and thin bronchial secretions
  • Makes coughs more productive
  • Reduces nasal swelling and clears stuffy nose

Directions

  • Adults & children 12+: Take 1 tablet every 4 hours as needed (do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours)
  • Children 6–11: Take ½ tablet every 4 hours (do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours)
  • Children under 6: Do not use

Warnings

  • Do not use if you are taking an MAOI or within 2 weeks of stopping one
  • Ask a doctor before use if you have thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, prostate problems, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or excessive phlegm
  • Stop use and ask a doctor if nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur, or if cough/congestion persist longer than 7 days
  • If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a healthcare professional
  • Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact Poison Control right away
