Drug Facts

Uses
- Relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation
- Helps loosen and thin mucus in the airways

Directions
- Adults & children 12+: 1 tablet every 4 hours as needed (do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours)
- Children 6–11: ½ tablet every 4 hours as needed (do not exceed 3 doses in 24 hours)
- Children under 6: Ask a doctor
Warnings
- Do not use if you are taking an MAOI or have taken one in the past 2 weeks
- Ask a doctor before use if you have chronic cough due to asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, or if cough is accompanied by excessive mucus
- Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms last more than 7 days, recur, or are accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache
- If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a healthcare professional before use
- Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away

- Store at 15°–30°C (59°–86°F)
- Do not use if imprinted seal under cap is broken or missing
