Uses
- Helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions
- Makes coughs more productive
Directions
- Adults and Children 12 years and over: Take 1–2 tablets every 4 hours with a full glass of water. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours.
- Children 6–12 years: Take 1/2 to 1 tablet every 4 hours. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours.
- Children under 6 years: Do not use.
Warnings
- Ask a doctor before use if you have: a persistent or chronic cough (such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema), or if your cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus).
- Stop use and ask a doctor if: cough lasts for more than 1 week, recurs, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or headache. These may be signs of a serious condition.
- If pregnant or breastfeeding: ask a health professional before use.
- Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
