Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How does a lidocaine patch work?
Lidocaine blocks nerve signals in the skin, creating a temporary numbing sensation that desensitizes aggravated nerves to relieve minor pain.
Can I cut the patch to fit a smaller area?
No. Cutting the patch can interfere with how the medicine is delivered and distributed. Always use the full, intact patch.
Is this the same as the Aspercreme® Lidocaine Patch?
Yes. Both products contain the exact same 4% lidocaine strength for effective, over-the-counter pain relief.
