Drug Facts
Active ingredients (in each tablet) & Purpose:
- Chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg – Antihistamine
- Dextromethorphan HBr 30 mg – Cough suppressant
Uses:
- Temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation
- Relieves runny nose and sneezing due to the common cold
Warnings:
Do not use if you are taking a prescription MAOI or for 2 weeks after stopping an MAOI.
Ask a doctor before use if you have:
- Urination trouble due to enlarged prostate
- Glaucoma
- Breathing issues such as chronic bronchitis or emphysema
- Persistent/chronic cough such as from smoking or asthma
