• Diphenhydramine HCl 12.5 mg: Antihistamine.

Uses

• Temporarily relieves these symptoms due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies: runny nose; sneezing; itchy, watery eyes; itching of the nose or throat.

Warnings

• Do not use: To make a child sleepy or with any other product containing diphenhydramine (including topical versions).
• Ask a doctor before use if the child has: A breathing problem such as chronic bronchitis, glaucoma, or is on a sodium-restricted diet.
• When using this product: Marked drowsiness or excitability (especially in children) may occur. Sedatives and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness.
• Stop use and ask a doctor if: Symptoms worsen, last more than 7 days, or occur again after a few days.
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, contact a Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222 immediately.

Directions

• Use only the enclosed dosing cup. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours.
• Children 6 to 11 years: 5 mL to 10 mL every 4 to 6 hours.
• Children 2 to 5 years: Do not use unless directed by a doctor.
• Children under 2 years: Do not use.
