Drug Facts

• Active Ingredient (in each 5 mL): Diphenhydramine HCl 12.5 mg – Antihistamine

Uses

• Temporarily relieves sneezing, runny nose, itchy throat, and itchy, watery eyes due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies

Directions

• Children 6–11 years: 5 mL to 10 mL every 4–6 hours
• Do not take more than 6 doses in 24 hours
• Children under 6 years: Ask a doctor
• Use only the enclosed dosing cup

Warnings

• Do not use: with any other product containing diphenhydramine, including topical products
• Do not use: to make a child sleepy
• Ask a doctor before use if: child has glaucoma, chronic bronchitis, or is on a sodium-restricted diet
• When using this product: marked drowsiness or excitability may occur; sedatives and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or call Poison Control (1-800-222-1222)
