- Active Ingredient: Diclofenac Sodium (NSAID) 1% – Arthritis Pain Reliever
Uses
- For the temporary relief of arthritis pain ONLY in the following areas:
- Hand, wrist, elbow (upper body areas)
- Foot, ankle, knee (lower body areas)
- Note: Not for sprains, strains, bruises, or sports injuries. Relief may take up to 7 days.
Directions
- Apply 4 times daily on the affected area.
- Use the enclosed dosing card to measure the correct amount.
- Do not use on more than 2 body areas at the same time.
- Do not use longer than 21 consecutive days unless directed by a doctor.
- Stop use if no improvement is seen after 7 days.
Warnings
- For external use only.
- Allergy Alert: May cause severe reaction in people allergic to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
- Stomach Bleeding Warning: Contains an NSAID, which may cause severe stomach bleeding. Risk is higher if you are over 60, have stomach ulcers, take blood thinners/steroids, or consume 3+ alcoholic drinks daily.
- Do not use: If you have ever had an allergic reaction to any other pain reliever or fever reducer; right before or after heart surgery; on eyes, nose, or mouth.
- Ask a doctor before use if you have: High blood pressure, heart disease, liver or kidney disease, asthma, or are under 18.
- Pregnancy/Breastfeeding: Consult a doctor before use. Do not use during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless definitely directed to do so by a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery.
Storage & Handling
- Store at 68-77°F (20-25°C).
- Keep from freezing.
Inactive Ingredients
Carbomer homopolymer Type C, cocoyl caprylocaprate, fragrance, isopropyl alcohol, mineral oil, polyoxyl 20 cetostearyl ether, propylene glycol, purified water, strong ammonia solution.
