✅✅✅ Tier 1: Premium Generic

Diclofenac Sodium 1% • Targeted Arthritis Relief • OTC (No Prescription)

Why it works GoodSense® Arthritis Pain Diclofenac Sodium 1% Gel – 3.53 oz (100 g) is a Tier 1 generic equivalent to Voltaren® Arthritis Pain Gel, containing the same diclofenac sodium 1% active ingredient (topical NSAID). Instead of circulating through your whole body like an oral pain reliever, diclofenac is applied directly to the affected joint to help reduce inflammation and relieve arthritis pain in the hands, wrists, elbows, feet, ankles, and knees.

✅ Tier 1 Equivalent to Voltaren® — same diclofenac sodium 1% strength
✅ Targeted Joint Relief — apply where it hurts (hands, knees, ankles, etc.)
✅ OTC (No Prescription) — original Rx strength, now over-the-counter
✅ 3.53 oz / 100 g Tube — standard value size

Joe's Translation: How Diclofenac Gel Works

  • The mechanism: This is a topical NSAID. It helps calm inflammation in the joint area you apply it to, which is why it’s used for arthritis pain (not general muscle soreness).
  • Plain English: You’re putting the medicine where the joint hurts instead of taking a pill that has to travel through your whole system first.
  • The rule to remember: Use it 4 times daily and give it time — many people notice the best relief after a few days of consistent use (up to 7 days).
  • Reach for this when: Your pain is in a specific arthritis joint (like knees, hands, ankles, or wrists) and you want localized relief without taking an oral NSAID.
