Geri-Care Docusate Sodium 50 mg / 5 mL Stool Softener Liquid – Gentle Constipation Relief
Gentle, Stimulant-Free Relief for Occasional Constipation
Geri-Care Docusate Sodium Liquid is a trusted stool softener designed to provide gentle relief from occasional constipation and irregularity. Unlike harsh stimulants that force bowel movements, docusate sodium works by increasing the amount of water absorbed by the stool in the gut, making it softer and easier to pass. This liquid formula is an excellent alternative for adults and children who have difficulty swallowing large pills or capsules. It generally produces a bowel movement within 12 to 72 hours, helping you return to comfort naturally.

Why do I have to mix this with juice or milk?
Mixing the liquid with 6 to 8 ounces of milk or fruit juice is essential to prevent potential throat irritation from the concentrated docusate sodium formula.
