Exciting for many, but same old for us. We offer free shipping on all of our orders 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

So, what's the big deal on December 15th? The story goes something like this:

Free Shipping Day was started in 2008 by Luke and Maisie Knowles, founders of Coupon Sherpa and FreeShipping.org, in an effort to extend the online shopping season. Statistics at the time showed online shopping peaked on Cyber Monday, generally held the week immediately following Black Friday. Consumers believed they would not receive their online orders in time for Christmas after that date.

You can visit FreeShipping.org to see all the merchants who usually charge for shipping, but won't for one day.

We see shenanigans with shipping all the time. Here's a screenshot we pulled from Google Shopping when searching for OneTouch Ultra Blue Test Strips.

Can you find the whopping $45 shipping charge! We had to take an extra step to see prices with shipping. If we had not, that merchant would look competitive with the others.

We decided not to charge for shipping , because this creates additional stress for our customers. As is the case with test strips, if you are buying the same item month after month for years, you don't want to deal with figuring out shipping each time. You don't want to deal with trying to reach a minimum order to get free shipping. Quite frankly, you just want to get the damn things ordered so you can get on with your life.

So, we hope you get some great deals on December 15th (Free Shipping Day). We'll still be here for you after the excitement fades.

Happy Shopping!
